Can someone please edit this small paragraph for me.?
More importantly, in this process, I have realized the great similarities between structural codes and planning legislation: for example, they are both complete systems consisting of detailed rules and give practical guidance on how to comply with certain requirements in specific areas.
Furthermore, I found the resemblances in terms of logical sequence in application between the two, for example, in Local Environmental Plans , there are often some provisions that may override the general rules (e.g. rules in the zoing table ). The same things happen frequently in the application of structural codes as well. For instance, for some weaker parts of a building, special rules are often applied over the general ones.
These resemblances enable my thinking developed in engineering to be well transferred to enhance my capacity of understanding relevant planning legislation and policies
thank you but i am not sure how to cut it short. ;)
