refund held up due to someone else using my ss#?
i called the irs today and found out that MY tax return WAS indeed accepted on the 17th, but someone else filed a tax return with MY SS# on the 19th and that was rejected. i would have to send in a paper copy of my taxes which should take 6 to 8 weeks to process. Why would they still hold up my refund if my info is correct? btw the phone system still says i should receive payment by the 31st thanks for the info, the guy from the irs gave me alot of #'s too i'm jus upset i really needed my refund i hate that i did everything right and there are ppl that are out to destroy ppl's lives for no good reason.
