Why are my parents like this?
Pretty much, my parents lie in order for me to do something I don't want to. For example, I had to learn a whole grade of Farsi (Persian language), in about 3 months. They promised me the Thunderbolt (a smartphone). When I finish, and they see my fluency and understanding, they say that I cheated them out for a cell pphone, and I didn't say a smartphone was so expensive. So I find a much cheaper smartphone, and they make me sign a contract and pay the FULL price, while they secretly went and bought me a free simple feature phone! They cheated me out of $150, and this phone has no application capabilities whatsoever! This was nearly a year ago, so I MIGHT be able to get a smartphone next year. A few months ago, my dad promised me if I solve a FULL Algebra 2 book, he will get me a laptop (the course was online, so he thought it made sense.). Six months of grueling hard assignments and studying, I pass it with a high A, yet my dad says he never made such a promise. He claims that the only time he would get me such a product is when I am off to college, and only if I get a full scholarship to an Ivy league one. If I want them to sign something so they can't cheat me out, they are always like "I'll remember" or "I don't need to sign it". If they want me to sign something so I don't forget, I need to otherwise "I'm not their child, I don't get a roof over my head, and I can't stay in the house. Also, one more thing: I wanted to go and work to make some extra money, yet my dad says that "whatever I need, he'll pay for it(which we all know to be a terrible lie), but when I want something, he says that I need to "earn my own money and pay for it myself." The $10k I had from birth in a savings account has dwindled to around $6k, and all of it in the past 3 years! I am 14, and my sister 12. She gets to use the computer AND watch TV with no questions asked, she gets whatever she wants, and she almost never gets in trouble, while as for me, I can't wait for that letter from Stan

samsung galaxy s2 or iphone 4s?
so im getting an upgrade in march, and im upgrading from a regular feature phone. both my parents have iphone 3gs and will probably upgrade to iphone 4s. we are on att and im just a teenager so im just mainly going to use it to text, surf the web, take some pics, games, and social network, and calling. which would be better for me? i like to customize my phone, but i read that the iphone 4s is better than i s2, but i feel like the s2 will meet my needs. and its cheaper.

VZW Phone Switching Questions?
Sooooo wirefly has a deal going for a 32 gb white droid razr and want it bad. currently it is 20$ for activation on a new line. we have a family plan with four people on it so there is room for another. my daughter is also at an age where it is time for a phone. what i was wondering was wether i could activate the phone on a new line, switch the phone over to my line and activate a feature phone i already have from an old contract. i would then cut the data on her line and i would have a new white 32gb droid razr. i currently have a droid x2 with unlimited data and an older texting plan. the thing is, does this go against contract? also would i be able to keep my unlimited data?
